What happens after I’ve purchased a personalised item?
Once you have purchased your personalised item you’ll receive a link to a form in your order confirmation email, there is also a link to forms on each product page. This is how you’ll provide all the details we need to personalise the product. Please keep an eye on your email inbox and spam folder so it doesn’t get missed. We can’t send out the product once we’ve received this information so please bare that in mind when ordering.
If you haven’t received your email link within 24 hours of ordering, or can’t find it on the website please get in touch.
It will take 5-7 working days (though may be sooner) from receiving your information to dispatch your letter. Please check product page for ordering cut-off dates.
What can be personalised?
Each product is different depending on what season you’re buying for (Christmas / Easter etc), it will also vary depending on if you’ve purchased an individual letter or a letter for multiple children. Below is an example of the questions we asked at Christmas to give you an idea.
Envelope
The envelope will be printed with the child’s name and address. We like to think it’s more magical to be really inventive with the address. (Please keep to three lines) For example:

Letter
We will send you a form with space for your personalisation details .
The form we send you will guide you through but for a brief idea of the sort of information we’ll need please see below:
– Santa Claus / Father Christmas
– Name of Child
– A few things they’ve done well this year
– What gift they would like for Christmas
– Something they’re looking forward to next year
Certificate
– Name of Child
– A single sentence of something they’ve done to get on the ‘Nice List’.
How do I receive the letter?
Your Santa letter will be delivered to you in a plain envelope with The Magic Quill Co. branding on it. (We don’t want to ruin the surprise for the children receiving these letters!).
We will leave the letter open and unsealed so that you can check all correct before sealing the envelope and tying the provided twine yourself.
Then it is up to you how they find their special letter! Some people like to leave the letter somewhere the child might find it – like magically apprearing under their pillow, others like to pretend its come through the post and leave hanging from the letter box. Be imaginative! Please do not post these letters in a post box!

Can I change Santa to Father Christmas?
Yes! Your preference will be noted in the form we send to you.
Can the letter be written in another language?
Our letters are currently only available in English. However, if you would like to write your own or translate ours we can print your letter with your version.
Will I receive a digital mock up?
Unfortunately our elves are very busy at this time of year so you won’t receive a mock up of your letter before it’s printed. You will get a notification when your letter has been dispatched.
I haven’t received confirmation of my order / digital form.
If you haven’t received your form or confirmation of order within 24 hours of ordering please check that you have paid and then have a look at the product page on the website, there is a link there for your form. If you can;t find it, please get in-touch via email [email protected]
What is your refund policy?
At The Magic Quill Co. the majority of our products are handmade and personalised so cannot be returned due to change of mind. If you have any concerns or queries about your order, please contact us via the contact form.
If there is damage to your order from the postal carrier or an error in your personalised item, please get in contact ASAP.
